What is the theme of menu?

In our menu, we explore the realm of international cooking, drawing inspiration from various culinary traditions around the world. We have a strong focus on incorporating real, wholesome ingredients and incorporating natural sources of fiber. Our commitment extends to responsibly sourcing our ingredients, with an emphasis on utilizing local suppliers.

Furthermore, we prioritize the use of fresh, seasonal vegetables, which are carefully selected and obtained on a daily basis. What kind of ingredients do you use?

As an experienced meal prep chef with over a decade of culinary expertise, I meticulously select high-quality, fresh, and wholesome ingredients for my dishes. I prioritize locally sourced, seasonal produce, lean proteins, and whole grains to create flavorful and nutritious meals.

With my culinary experience, I skillfully combine flavors and textures, incorporating bold spices and unique ingredients from diverse culinary traditions. My goal is to provide you with exceptional meals that nourish both the body and the senses.

How long will the food last?

With our chef's high talents, your food will last up to 5 days in the fridge and up to two weeks in the freezer.

Substitutions

Upon requests and you required glutton free and lactose free or organic, the will be an extra cost.

Also request must be sent before cutoff point on Thursday at 12 pm CST.

Allegens

While we strive to follow best practices in meal preparation, it's important to note that our kitchen environment contains various allergens. These include nuts, eggs, fresh and wild-caught seafood, shellfish, vegetable protein from non-fermented, non-GMO soybeans, and gluten. Therefore, we cannot guarantee the complete absence of allergens.

At Chef Shaby y Su Mai's production facilities, ingredients that contain the seven major food allergens identified by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (milk, egg, soy, fish, shellfish, peanuts, and tree nuts) are stored, portioned, and distributed. Despite precautions taken to minimize cross-contamination during production and transit, there is a possibility of unintentional cross-contamination, resulting in meals or other products containing one or more of these allergens.

If you experience symptoms of an allergic reaction or any other adverse health event, it is crucial to promptly contact your healthcare provider or seek immediate medical attention. Additionally, please be aware that due to the variable nature of ingredient availability, the nutritional information provided by Chef Shaby y Su Mai may differ from published data.

Your well-being and safety are our utmost concern, and we encourage you to reach out if you have any specific concerns or dietary restrictions related to allergens.

Delivery Questions

Where do you deliver?

As of now, within a 25-mile radius of Denton, TX.

Do you do doorstep deliveries?

We mainly do hand-deliveries only, which means someone at the delivery address will need to be present to receive the order.

We will not leave food on your doorstep unless you specifically instruct us to do so. Do keep in mind that there is an extra fee for doorstep deliveries.

How do I know when my delivery is on the way?

We will notify that when we are en route and arrive at the pickup location.

What do I do after receiving my delivery?

Upon receiving your delivery, refrigerate your meal packs as soon as possible. They are safe in the box for 6-8 hours once delivered and during summertime 1-3 hours pending where you are located for extreme heat. You can freeze the meals, and it will still taste fresh. If you do decide to freeze, we recommend that you extend your cooking time to 4-5 mins when heating.

How do I cancel a delivery?

We can guarantee to cancel a newly billed order if the request is made before the Thursday 11:59pm CST cutoff.  We cannot guarantee our Customer Experience team can stop and cancel an order after the Thursday 11:59pm CST cutoff.

Cancelling a subscription does not cancel an already billed order. If the order has fully processed and/or has left our facility, we will not be able to stop the delivery.  

Please contact us via chat on our contact page for immediate assistance. There is no obligation to continue service past any given delivery, however, you must either manually cancel your subscription in your customer dashboard or request via chat to cancel your subscription or we will continue delivering meals to you. 

Order and Billing questions

When will I billed?

Chef Shaby y Su Mai is a weekly recurring subscription. Meal selection is available Monday from 9 am CST until Thursday at 12 pm CST. If meals are selected, billing starts 12-24 hours after the meals are selected for the following week’s delivery and before that billing occurs, you can make changes.

If no meals are selected by Thursday 12 pm CST, your next delivery will be chef-curated based on your meal plan and exclusions; billing will occur Saturday. Our cut-off to skip, modify, or cancel is Thursday at 12 pm CST. If a request needs immediate attention, contact us.

Will I get a refund if I'm not satisfied with my order?

Refunds are based on a case-by-case basis and are not 100% guaranteed. For immediate assistance, contact us.

How many ways I can order?

All orders will be delivered weekly.

Service Questions

Is there a minimum number of meals?

Yes. The minimum is 7 meals per week.

Do you do catering?

Unfortunately, no. We do not.
